Description
Acrylic Acid Supplier & Exporter in India
Acrylic Acid is the monomer that made the modern disposable nappy possible. Polymerised into sodium polyacrylate, it absorbs many times its own weight in water, and that single application consumes a large share of world production. The rest goes into acrylate esters for emulsions, adhesives, coatings and textile binders.
Rexus Pharma Chem LLP supplies and exports Acrylic Acid in bulk to polymer and emulsion manufacturers, adhesive and coating producers, superabsorbent makers and water treatment chemical companies across India, Africa and the Gulf. Material is supplied inhibited. Minimum order quantity is 500 kg.

Minimum Order Quantity and Despatch
The minimum order quantity for Acrylic Acid is 500 kg. Packing is supplied in standard commercial sizes for this material, and the exact pack size is confirmed against your enquiry along with the price and lead time. Mixed consignments with other products from our range can be combined into a single despatch, and export orders are shipped with COA, MSDS and the full set of documents required at destination.
Storage and Handling
Acrylic Acid is corrosive and polymerises violently and exothermically if the inhibitor is depleted, if it freezes and re-melts unevenly, or if it is overheated. Store between roughly 15 and 25 degrees Celsius in vented, inhibited-compatible containers away from heat, sunlight, peroxides and oxidising agents. Do not allow it to freeze – it solidifies near 13 degrees Celsius and re-melting must be done gently and evenly, since the inhibitor does not distribute in the solid. Some dissolved oxygen is needed for the inhibitor to function, so never blanket it with pure nitrogen. Read the MSDS before handling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why must Acrylic Acid not be allowed to freeze?
Acrylic acid solidifies at about 13 degrees Celsius, and the MEHQ inhibitor does not distribute through the solid. When it re-melts, inhibitor-poor regions can polymerise violently. Uncontrolled polymerisation of a full container is a serious hazard.
What inhibitor is used?
Material is supplied inhibited, normally with MEHQ. The inhibitor requires dissolved oxygen to work, which is why the material must never be blanketed with pure nitrogen.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order quantity is 500 kg.
Do you supply COA and MSDS?
Yes, with every consignment. Given the polymerisation hazard, the MSDS and storage temperature requirements must be understood before the material is accepted.
